Our Training Approach
Whether this is your first time training on one of our pieces of equipment or a refresher course, we encourage our customers to bring members of their team and join us onsite for regular training.
We have found these training events to be an effective way to provide critical information for successfully operating and fully utilizing the capabilities of our machines. We are also in the process of building out a comprehensive ONLINE training program for our customers.
Topics covered in both our training events include the following:
Hands-on training for proper goniophotometer system setup, calibration and testing
Classroom teaching of introductory photometry, spectroradiometry and colorimetry
Instruction for interpreting test results and reports
Briefing of standard regulations: domestic & international (FMVSS/CMVSS 108, SAE, UN-ECE and others)
Overview of performance protocols - IIHS, NHTSA-NCAP and Consumer Reports

Upcoming Training Events
october 10 & 11, 2023
At our training events, we invite customers to come and learn the full scope of functionality of the machine they have purchased. During training, we cover a variety of topics on how to operate, troubleshoot and begin testing using our machines. We work through our training modules in a combination of classroom and hands-on teaching.
This training event will be focused on the AP-60. Please RSVP by September 9th to register your team for training.
